Why Confined Space Awareness Matters

Confined space incidents escalate quickly, often before technician rescue teams arrive.

First-arriving personnel must recognize hazards, control the scene, and prevent additional victims without entering the space.

This awareness-level course develops hazard recognition and decision-making skills aligned with NFPA 1006 (2021) awareness competencies, helping responders stabilize incidents safely until specialized resources arrive.
